Blank Pages

I've been thinking how things have changed, and how things have stayed the same. The only thing I've found is there's no one else around who thinks the way I do. Thinks the way you used to. We're still growing older, and never getting younger. My high school textbooks are filled with blank pages. We're too young to know the difference, and I can't find the words to say. I wrote these words in summer with winter on my mind. The seasons change. No one's to blame. We just pass the time. They say tomorrow never comes. We're still searching for today. But that's just what they say. Soon these blank pages will be filled with empty promises of how we could make it, and be what we were "born to be." The only thing I know is that I don't know a single thing. The only thing I know is that I know nothing.
